Locally Led Action works with climate-affected communities to reduce vulnerability to drought, floods and other shocks. We strengthen community preparedness, early-warning and early-action systems and support locally developed climate adaptation solutions.

Our work includes: climate adaptation; community-based disaster risk reduction; early warning and anticipatory action; drought and flood preparedness; natural-resource management; climate awareness; and community resilience planning.

Our locally led approach: Communities identify their risks, contribute local and indigenous knowledge, establish priorities and lead preparedness and resilience actions.
