Locally Led Action integrates protection throughout its programmes and supports community mechanisms that prevent and respond to violence, abuse, exploitation, exclusion and discrimination.

Our work includes: child protection; safeguarding; PSEA; GBV risk mitigation and referral; disability inclusion; protection mainstreaming; community-based protection; awareness of rights and available services; and safe referral pathways.

Our locally led approach: We strengthen community-based protection structures and ensure women, children, young people, persons with disabilities and marginalised groups have meaningful opportunities to influence decisions affecting them.
