LADE collaborates with communities, schools, and local authorities to create safe, inclusive learning environments that empower children and youth. Education, for us, is a foundation for protection, resilience, and long-term development. We improve access to safe, child friendly classrooms and integrate WASH in schools by providing clean water, gender segregated latrines, and menstrual hygiene management (MHM) facilities, ensuring girls can attend school with dignity.

We also strengthen hygiene clubs and peer-led initiatives, promoting health, cleanliness, and environmental awareness. Additionally, LADE works on child protection by preventing violence, abuse, and exploitation in schools, with safe referral pathways for at-risk children. To enhance employability, LADE offers vocational and digital skills training for adolescents and out-of-school youth, with opportunities in tailoring, carpentry, ICT, and entrepreneurship. Partnerships with private sector actors expand job prospects.

We prioritize inclusion and equity by ensuring children from marginalized groups have equal access to quality education. We engage communities to challenge harmful practices like early marriage and child labor and foster support for education for all.
