Peacebuilding, Governance & Social Cohesion
LADE works with communities to strengthen dialogue, trust, and collaboration in fragile and conflict-affected settings. We recognize that lasting peace can only be achieved when communities themselves lead reconciliation and coexistence efforts.
Our interventions include community dialogues, inter-clan reconciliation forums, and youth- and women-led peace committees that promote inclusive participation in peace processes. By engaging traditional leaders, faith actors, and marginalized groups, we ensure that diverse voices shape solutions.
We also integrate conflict sensitivity and social cohesion measures across all programs, ensuring that humanitarian and development interventions reduce tensions rather than exacerbate them. Through these locally driven efforts, LADE helps build communities that are safer, more united, and better able to withstand future shocks.
