Livelihoods & Economic Empowerment Officer
Job Purpose:
The Livelihoods & Economic Empowerment Officer will support initiatives that increase income opportunities, vocational skills, and access to financial services for vulnerable households.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement livelihood programs including vocational training and income-generating activities.
- Conduct market assessments and identify economic opportunities.
- Facilitate access to microfinance, savings groups, and cooperative structures.
- Monitor and evaluate program impact on household income and resilience.
- Prepare program reports for management and donors.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Development Studies.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in livelihoods or economic empowerment programs.
- Knowledge of microfinance and income-generating project management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Fluency in Somali and English.
